The First Job March 18, 2014

Tuesday March 18 was the first time I completed a portion of my senior capstone hours. My mentor, Dr. Cheng asked me to spend a couple hours on the web researching what chiropractics is. He wanted me to have a better understanding about his job and what he specalizes in. I learned that chiropratics is a form of alternative medicine without the use of prescribed medication. Chiropratics can also be described as manual therapy which includes various spinal and soft tissue techiques. Chiropractors have the abilitity to diagnose injuries and then perform the treatment they feel is neccesary for the patient to recover.
