The Ninth Job: May 5, 2014
This portion of my project took place at my house. My mentor asked me to search up the guidelines when dealing with concussions. I learned that are classified by three levels. Level one is minor with no loss of consciousness while level three is more severe with a loss of consciousness for at least five seconds. If someone receives a level three concussion they should be sidelined from any type of activities for at least a month. I also did some research on what some concussion symptoms are like: prolonged headache, vision disturbances, dizziness, nausea or vomiting. I did a lot of research which helped me move on with my project and presentation. All of this information also increased my own personal knowledge and helped me determine if this was a profession that I wanted to pursue.
